35 Weeks
1 month from today is my scheduled c-section! And I am so excited... To meet our new addition and to not be pregnant anymore! Remember how much I loved being pregnant with Rilynn? Yeah, I think you all know I don't feel the same this round. Everything hurts and nothing fits. Oh well, it's almost over! Then on to sleepless nights and stinky blow outs.
Position- head down! Not that it matters for delivery. I have no intentions of having a vaginal birth. BUT, I was getting a little anxious about his hips. Rilynn has no hip sockets because she was frank breech. I thought for sure this kid was in the same position, but I was so happy to be wrong. He's the exact opposite. His bum is where Rilynn's head was.
Weight Gain- I'm starting to think my starting weight must have been higher than I originally thought. Because I'm up to 40 pounds. This little guy better not be very little.
Symptoms- siatica is a new one this go around and it sucks! I go to a great chiropractor which has helped tremendously. And I'm getting biweekly massages; not the spa relaxation type, the bruised back and neck type. But it hurts so good!
Sleep- I use 4 pillows (better than my 6 I used with Rilynn) to help me get comfortable, but calf cramps are starting to disrupt my sleep. I don't really wake up to pee at night.
Cravings- nothing. I've had a lot of acid reflux and heart burn so nothing sounds overly appetizing.
Rilynn- Life is good when you are 2 1/2. She asks all the time if her baby brother can come out yet. She says she's going to hold him, share with him, feed him, and he's going to sit in her lap. She was the cutest little flower girl in my cousin's wedding. She likes to tell us that she threw flowers and everyone clipped for her and said wahoo! She LOVES being center of attention. Such a fun age.
