The Magic of Disneyland with a 2 Year Old

Mistake #1... Never wake your toddler up
ar 4:30 am for a flight. Sleep is too important.
She was ready to swim once we checked in.
Downtown Disney has this cute boutique just like the Bibity Bobity Boutique... Can't say I was impressed with the slicked back hair dos.
We sat next to a gorilla at dinner... Best way to keep your kids in line at a restaurant, he came to life a grunted every 15 minutes and we told Rilynn he was watching her.
Dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
Disneyland day 1... Does she look a little tired? That early morning flight on Saturday lead to an adrenaline rush that kept her up until 2:30 am Sunday morning. Poor Travis was driving her around Anaheim in the wee hours of the morning, desperate for her to sleep. Mistake #2 ditching her binki 10 days before our trip.
Dumbo

But she did great at the park!
She met Mickey and still talks about it every day.
We took a break in the afternoon hoping for some naps... No such luck.
But we came back for my favorite part, Disney at night. It just looks so magical!
Rilynn's new favorite phrase is "oh my Josh"! And it started when she saw the castle lit up.
The Paint the Night Parade was our favorite part!
Although she faught it, she was asleep by 9:30, a big improvement from the night before.
Day 2: California Adventure
Meeting Doc McStuffins
Meeting Anna and Elsa! She was so happy and star struck she almost cried tears of joy.
We found out we were at CA Adventure on its birthday!
Cars Land was a favorite!
Frozen sing-along fun!
Disney jr Live on Stage was a 45 minute show; when it was over Rilynn wanted to stay for another round!
Fish faces on another carousel ride!
Cooling off from the 90 degree weather!
Last day of Disney!
Princess at her castle.
Family favorite!
She had never seen Winnie the Pooh before meeting the characters and now she is obsessed with them.
Blowing kisses.
Dole Whip at the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room!
We are too cheap to buy the $15 a picture photo pass photos... Really Disney, $15 for a photo?!?
We left Disney and headed to the desert!
Fun in the sun was the ticket to relaxation and normal sleep again for Rilynn.
$15 of pool toys from the Dollar Tree made her pretty popular at the kiddie pool.
Daily family lazy river ride. Rilynn only fell in once and the life guard was seconds from jumping in to save her.
Take away a binki and she will problem solve. Try taking away her thumb.
Who loves treats?? "I do!"
FYI no aelfie sticks allowed at Disneyland.
Just warming up for a round of golf with Dad.
First golf cart ride!
Lessons.
Later Cali!
